Wikpedia gives the following definition:
Environmental technology (envirotech), green technology (greentech) or clean technology (cleantech) is the application of one or more of environmental science, green chemistry, environmental monitoring and electronic devices to monitor, model and conserve the natural environment and resources, and to curb the negative impacts of human involvement.

At Hydronaturals® our description goes a little deeper. We move towards the goal of Carbon Neutrality In order to achieve this we implement a process we refer to as "No Status Quo". This policy involves three principles:

  • Everything can be improved upon.
  • Break it down into the simplest of steps or components
  • Take what does exist and create what does not exist

By following these principles we can create better more efficient and environmentally friendly products and services. These principles apply to any product or service within a company.

In all of our hydroponic buildings we use reverse osmosis to purify our water, solar panels and wind generation to power our facilities and only organic nutrients to feed our product this allows us to achieve a "True Organic" product and facility.

Green Technology Advantages

Starting with a green buiding project our modular hydroponic systems are environmentall friendly from the ground up. We insulate our concrete floors with plastics (SIP) an expanded polystyrene foam core laminated to sheets of high-strength oriented strand board.

For our walls we use a product that is made up of mineralized wood and a concrete mix. Our walls are atleast 1 foot thick and in colder climates up to three feet thick. The roofs are environmentall friendly insulated and we power the stuctures with wind and solar.

These modular systems are easy to build and the grow facility is interchangeable with quick connect components and pvc lines that are environmentally friendly.

We only use organic nutrients in our grow systems and filter all the water through reverse osmosis which creates a pure consistent water so we start with the same base everytime.
